Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications
Qualified applicants must:
- Be Gastite certified or have experience running and installing gas lines (including black iron, copper, and gastite flexible hose/pipes).
- Have an EPA License type 1 and 2.
Qualified applicants should also:
- Be willing to work under houses and attics year-round under extreme heat or cold conditions.
- Be proficient at installing mini splits, gas package equipment, and split heat pumps without supervision.
- Be proficient at running ductwork, framing returns in walls and ceilings, building wood platforms, etc.
- Be familiar and proficient with using power tools, such as impact drills, torque drills, socket sets, hammer drills, shawls, circular saws, etc.
- Be able to trim out houses (wire indoor/outdoor units for low or high voltage, solder lineset, install thermostats for multiple brand start-ups, and rough-in/complete new construction jobs).
- Have experience with brake presses and manufacturing equipment to build supply and return plenums out of sheet metal.
