Single-zone wall units
One outdoor unit + one indoor head. The most common config for a problem room, addition, or sunroom — and where most homeowners start.
When the category leader makes the equipment, the install matters even more. Mitsubishi Electric is the gold standard in residential and light commercial ductless mini-splits — and we’re factory-trained to install and service the full lineup across Sumter.
Mitsubishi Electric introduced the first inverter-driven mini-split in the 1980s and has held the technology lead ever since. Their Hyper-Heat systems pull useful heat out of outdoor air well below freezing, their indoor heads routinely measure under 19 decibels (quieter than a library), and their compressor warranty runs twelve years — the longest in the residential HVAC industry.
From a contractor’s perspective, that translates to fewer service calls per install, cleaner warranty processes when something does go wrong, and equipment that ages gracefully. We’ve installed Mitsubishi systems from single-room ADUs to whole-home multi-zone setups across Sumter — and we keep coming back to the brand because the customers do.

Mitsubishi makes more variations than any other ductless brand. Every category exists because some home or space needed exactly that shape.
One outdoor unit + one indoor head. The most common config for a problem room, addition, or sunroom — and where most homeowners start.
One outdoor compressor running 2–8 indoor heads. Each zone has its own thermostat. Common for whole-home setups and bigger additions.
Hold full heating capacity down to 5°F — enough margin for any cold snap Sumter will throw at them. Bigger margin than most homes need, but the comfort is real.
Recessed into the ceiling — only the trim and grille show. Cleaner aesthetic than wall units when the wall space matters more.
Sit at floor level along a wall — ideal for low-ceiling spaces, bonus rooms, or homes where wall mounting isn’t an option.
App-based control for every Mitsubishi system. Set schedules, watch energy use, run zones from your phone — no aftermarket smart thermostats needed.
Recognize any of these? Our techs are on the road most days — let’s get yours diagnosed.
Mitsubishi installs end with the homeowner using the system, not staring at a remote they don't understand.
We measure the spaces, ask how you actually use them, and confirm the right BTU load for real-world conditions.
Single vs. multi-zone, wall vs. ceiling vs. floor, standard vs. Hyper-Heat — we lay out the options that fit the home.
Itemized in writing, with any active Mitsubishi promotions, utility incentives, and tax credits stacked into the bottom line.
Single-zone wraps in a day, multi-zone in two. Line-set routing planned to look intentional, not improvised.
Refrigerant verified, performance tested, warranty registered, kumo cloud configured and demonstrated. You leave knowing how to use it.
Factory training plus the multi-zone installs that prove it.

Frequently Asked
After years of repairing every ductless brand on the market, we see Mitsubishi systems break the least, stay quietest, hold heating capacity better in cold weather, and back their warranty without games. Daikin and Fujitsu are also excellent — both are legitimate alternatives — but Mitsubishi sits at the top of our recommendation list for new installs.
Hyper-Heat is Mitsubishi’s cold-climate variant — engineered to hold full heating capacity down to about 5°F outdoor air. In our climate, you don’t strictly need it for survival; standard models heat down into the 20s comfortably. But Hyper-Heat is what makes ductless reliable as a sole heating source even in unexpected cold snaps. If you’re going whole-home ductless and not keeping a backup furnace, Hyper-Heat is worth the upgrade.
Properly installed and maintained: 15–20 years on the outdoor compressor unit, often longer on indoor heads. Mitsubishi backs their compressors with a 12-year warranty when installed by a trained dealer — which is one of the strongest warranties in the industry.
The “properly installed” qualifier matters. Bad line-set routing or wrong sizing kills any brand. Worth picking an installer who’s done a lot of them.
12-year compressor warranty (industry-leading), 10-year parts warranty on other components, when registered within 90 days by an authorized installer. We handle the registration on install day.
On top of that, qualifying installs through us include our 10-Year Labor Warranty — so labor and parts are both covered for the first decade.
Absolutely — single-zone installs (one outdoor + one indoor head) are one of our most common projects. Sunroom, bonus room over the garage, master bedroom that always runs too hot, finished basement — pick the problem room, solve it, and leave the rest of the central system alone.
Yes — we’re authorized to perform warranty service on Mitsubishi systems regardless of who originally installed them. If you have a Mitsubishi mini-split that’s acting up under warranty, give us a call. We document the work and process the warranty claim with Mitsubishi directly.
HVAC investments shouldn't put your comfort on hold. We work with qualifying customers to spread the cost of repairs, replacements, and indoor air quality upgrades into manageable monthly payments.
Subject to credit approval. Financing options, terms, and qualifications may vary by lender and project type. Not all applicants will qualify. Our team can walk you through available options when you request service or an estimate.
